In Stavanger we have a small but active SSA. We try to provide a varied program, which has included everything from our regular coffees, to nights out of fine dining with partners and girls movie nights.
Norway is a really interesting place to live but like any move arriving and finding a home can be quite daunting. Newcomers often say they wish they had asked some questions before they arrived, so if you are moving to Stavanger drop us an email and we will do our best to answer any questions or put you in touch with some one who can. We want you to feel free to contact any of the committee to help gather helpful information.
We always try to wish everyone who arrives in Stavanger a warm welcome from other Schlumberger families, but occasionally someone arrives and we don’t know they are here. If you know someone who we haven’t been in touch with or if you know you are coming, PLEASE email us as we would love to welcome you on your arrival.
Stavanger has a Guide to Expat Living - called the SPIN guide. It provides information on just about everything you need to know about living in Stavanger. You will receive a copy of the book from the SSA when you arrive.
