We are looking for you to interpret the theme in whatever way you see fit - the more creative, the more interesting! The SSA is a dynamic and continually changing association; the lives we lead are dynamic; the countries we live in are too. Play with the theme. Twist it a little. Make things interesting!</font><br> </p> <hr> <br> <font face="arial" color="#ff0000" size="2"><b>THE DEADLINE</b></font><br> <br> <font face="arial" size="2">The deadline for submissions to the <i>SSAfara Magazine</i> is <b>March 12, 2004</b>.</font><br> <hr> <br> <font face="arial" color="#ff0000" size="2"><b>SUBMISSION GUIDELINES</b></font><br> <br> <font face="arial" size="2">Submissions can be made in a number of ways. The most convenient way is to <b>email</b> your submission to <a href="mailto:magazine@ssafara.net">magazine@ssafara.net</a>. We will also accept IBM disks, CD-ROMs or Zip Disks, as well as originals of artwork by regular mail. Please do not forget to include <b>your full name, SSA Chapter and country of location</b> in the email.</font><br> <br> <font face="arial" size="2">We cannot return anything sent to us and cannot be held responsible for anything that doesn't arrive or arrives damaged.</font><br> <hr> <br> <font face="arial" color="#ff0000" size="2"><b>HELPFUL HINTS REGARDING PICTURES</b></font><br> <br> <font face="arial" size="2">Please ensure that with every photograph you send, you include a <b>caption</b>! Let us know <b>where</b> and <b>when</b> the event took place, and to whom all those happy faces in the pictures belong! Please ensure that <b>everyone's name is spelt correctly</b>.</font><br> <br> <font face="arial" size="2">When you are sending digital images, the most important thing to remember is <b>resolution</b>! This may sound complicated but it really isn't! When you are taking pictures for the magazine, a good rule-of-thumb is to set the camera to a '<b>high-resolution</b>' setting or a resolution of <b>1,600 x 1,200 pixels or greater</b>. Your camera manual will tell you how to do this. We do want to use all the photographs received, so please check your camera's resolution settings.</font><br> <br> <font face="arial" size="2">Please also consider sending photographs that are different to group shots. While we love to see all your smiling faces, it's also great to see people doing something! Keep in mind that many of the people who read the magazine may not have visited your 'home' country before, so we are also interested in seeing something of the place in which you live!
