Contact Information
 Sandra
Luckett, Ex-Offico Global Coordinator, at an SSA meeting in
Houston, Texas.
Some chapters post contact information that just lists the
person's name and position. These posting could be more
beneficial if email addresses were included on the public
side. This would allow members visiting or moving to your
chapter's area to contact a person listed. Phone numbers
can only be listed on the private, password
protected side of the site.

Chapter Web
Coordinators |
|
Some chapter Web Coordinators have lots of
experience with HTML, XML, and other coding languages.
Some have only created webpages using tools located on
sites like Yahoo! and Iwon. It does not matter what your skill
level is; you can still post information to www.ssafara.net. Any
information that you feel would be helpful to current and
future members in your chapter's area should be posted.
I would suggest that anyone posting to the
website read the SSA Content Guidelines located at www.ssafara.net/ssaw (password protected
area) before submitting information. This document explains
what can and cannot be posted on both the public and privates
sides of the site.
Anyone who has the time to type the
information into the chapter's submission form can help add
information to a chapter's public area. The only tools
necessary are a computer, Internet access, a web browser, and
a willingness to help your chapter. |

Requesting
An SSA Account |
|
Some members believe the only reason to request an SSA
account is only to get an SSAfara.net email address. This is
not the primary purpose for requesting an account. The primary
purpose is communication. Obtaining an SSA account allows the
Global Coordinator, Regional Coordinators, and local
Coordinators to keep you updated on what is happening at
the global, regional, and
local levels. Coordinators occasionally send out
surveys asking members' opinions. If you do not have an
SSA account, you will not receive a survey. Please
request your account so your voice can be heard at
the local, regional and global levels of our
organization.
A printable copy of the form is available for
downloading in the password protected area - www.ssafara.net/ssaw. Once logged in click
"Forms" in the Menu. Copies can be printed and taken to local
SSA events. |
